What is my blog about? It's about DC social life, UVA, working in DC, life coaching, charity work, music, getting in shape and helping others. I enjoy helping people especially the military and making contacts.
I'm specifically involved in two charities Suited for Change with Barbara Merola www.suitedforchange.org and My Vision Foundation www.myvision.org.
Suited for Change is about giving life skills and professional clothing to underprivileged women.
My Vision Foundation helps young women with breast cancer preserve their fertility. It was founded by a high school classmate of mine, Alice Crisci who was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31 years of age. She also wrote an amazing book to go along with her experiences.
I'm also helping with publicity and business development with Skincando. It's an organic skin care line that is amazing! I'm helping to send as much of the Combat-Ready balm to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan as it is a salve against the torturous sand fleas. We are working cojointly with WMAL with Operation Sand Flea to send the balm to as many troops as possible. www.skincando.com and www.wmal.com.
